Penn State Law to host satellite viewing of national forum on energy and climate change

Penn State Law is a remote viewing site for the National Council for Science and the Environment’s 2015 National Conference on Energy and Climate Change.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Law’s Lewis Katz Building is one of several locations on the University Park campus that will host live viewing of the National Council for Science and the Environment’s National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment: Energy and Climate Change. This is a national conference that pulls in more than 1,000 people every year, including top leaders and decision makers.

The main conference will take place Jan. 27-29 in Washington, D.C., and guests can watch the event live from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on all three days in the Lewis Katz Building’s Sutliff Auditorium.

8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Jan. 27, 28, and 29

The satellite viewing is sponsored by the Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment, and a printable conference agenda is available at on the PSIEE website. More information on the main conference is available online at www.energyandclimatechange.org.

Additionally, students and faculty can access all keynote and plenary discussions both as live webcasts and as recorded archives beginning the following day by contacting psiee@psu.edu. Only the keynotes and plenaries listed will be recorded. Please note, the symposia and workshops listed on the main NCSE conference site will NOT be recorded or webcast.
