"Afghanistan makes Iraq look easy," says Dr. Jeffrey McCausland, professor of international law and diplomacy at Penn State Law and Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Council on Ethics in International Affairs. His comprehensive and evenhanded briefing analyzes the situation on the ground and the possible consequences of sending more troops.
Professor McCausland is a retired colonel from the U.S. Army and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is an adjunct fellow at both the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the RAND Corporation in Washington. He also serves as a member of the advisory board to the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and as a national security consultant to CBS television and radio.
