Litigation and Corporate Transactions
The aim of the course is to give an overview of the role of litigation and litigators in corporate transactions. The course looks at commercial, M&A and bankruptcy litigation in general; how litigators can work with transactional lawyers to minimize the risk that a deal will lead to litigation; and what litigators can do after litigation has begun in order to get a favorable outcome. No prior experience with M&A or bankruptcy law is required, and the course is designed to be of value to anyone interested in litigation and or corporate transactions.
Note: This Spring 2020 1-credit course with Professor Walter will run over five Monday evenings in March and April 2020. Complete details are available in the Spring 2020 Timely Registration News.
