Interested in the intersection of American jurisprudence and history? The Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) at Penn State Law will be hosting Professor Troy Andrade, a recipient of the 2018 National Teaching Award from the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT), to give a presentation on Native Hawaiian justice issues.
Professor Andrade is the director of the Ulu Lehua Scholars Program and an assistant professor of law at the William S. Richardson School of Law. Nationally recognized by the American Bar Association (ABA) as one of the Top 40 Young Lawyers for 2017, he is also co-chair of the Hawai’i State Bar Association’s Civic Education Committee, a member of the Executive Board of the Judiciary History Center, and currently of counsel with McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon LLP.
