Penn State Law Minority Mentor Program to begin third year with dinner Aug. 31

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Law’s Minority Mentor Program will kick off its third year with a reception dinner on Thursday, Aug. 31, in the Regency Ballroom of the Atherton Hotel in State College. The event will begin with a reception at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m., and will include alumni, faculty, staff and students.

The Minority Mentor Program continues to grow and now includes more than 100 members of the Penn State Law community. The program offers racially and ethnically diverse students, LGBTQ students, and physically disabled students the opportunity to establish relationships with mentors who are experts in the legal field. The program provides students with the support they need to help them achieve academic success and emotional well-being during law school and as they enter the legal profession.
