Labor and Employment Law Society

Mission Statement:
The goal of the Labor & Employment Law Society is to provide students interested in labor law or employment law with networking, educational, and service opportunities. LELS will serve to connect students to opportunities outside of the law school and to labor movements on the campus, local, state, and national levels. While we focus heavily on connecting law students to the labor movement, our organization will also seek to highlight and facilitate discussion on the distinct laws and regulations that govern the direct employer-employee relationship outside of an organized workplace context. Further, we want to expand students' academic options for exploring labor and employment relations in the private, public, and international economic sectors.
