Experts from across the country joined Samuel C. Thompson Jr., Professor and Arthur Weiss Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Penn State Law in University Park, and event co-chair Sabrina Conyers, partner at McGuireWoods LLP, for a live discussion on minority business development. The event included the perspectives of lawyers, an economist, a business school dean, a member of the clergy, tax policy experts, and entrepreneurs.
This event was connected to Professor Thompson’s current course, Minority Business Development: The Lawyer’s Role in Helping Close the Minority-White Gap in Business Ownership. Currently being taught to Penn State Law in University Park students, the course is also available for free, online, to the general public.
