Penn State Law in University Park will pilot a course in spring 2022 that explores the intersection between law and (in)equity. Each week during this semester, one professor based or affiliated with Penn State Law will lead a lecture and discussion in an area of their expertise.
Inaugural recipients of four new diversity scholarships
Penn State Law in University Park awarded four students as the inaugural recipients of four new diversity scholarships as part of its commitment to ongoing concrete action on diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracism. The awardees are third-year law students Brea Jones, Joy Kim, Sidnee McDonald, and second-year law student Amanda Carrizales.
2021 MMP participants
Penn State Law in University Park hosted its annual kickoff reception for the Minority Mentor Program (MPP) on Friday, August 27, at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The reception provides first-year law students entering the MMP to learn more about the program and to network with Penn State Law students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Britny Martinez
First-year law student Britny Martinez has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote Penn State Law Diversity Scholarship. As part of the award, Martinez will receive tuition support and a summer clerkship with the law firm.
