The National Security Law Society (NSLS) at Penn State Law in University Park established a team to participate in the 2023 Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition, and took second place in the writing competition in March 2023.
On February 1, 2023, the Penn State Law in University Park Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, representing the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the National Employment Law Project (NELP), filed an amicus brief with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in an employment discrimination case.
Max Giuliano, a third-year law student at Penn State Law in University Park, has had an eventful law school career.
The Penn State Law in University Park Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, alongside Washington, D.C.-based firm, The Employment Law Group, PC, filed a petition for a writ of certiorari with the Supreme Court of the United States, along with a Motion to Proceed as a Veteran, in a case that concerns reemployment rights for uniformed service members.
Current Penn State Law student Victoria Crynes, along with her family, has established the Sanchez-Crynes Visionary Legacy Endowed Scholarship at Penn State Law.
