Judge Patricia H. Jenkins '76 to join Superior Court of Pennsylvania

Judge Patricia H. Jenkins '76 will fill a vacancy on the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the state Senate confirmed by vote earlier this week. A twenty-year veteran on the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, Jenkins was nominated by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett to fill the seat left by The Hon. Correale Stevens '72, who was appointed by the governor to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in July 2013.

Jenkins was appointed to the Delaware County Court of Commons Pleas by Governor Robert P. Casey in 1993, and was elected to a full ten-year term later that year. In November 2003, she was retained for a second ten-year term.

Following graduation from The Dickinson School of Law, Jenkins was engaged in private practice and held the position of partner in the law firm of Kassab, Archbold, Jackson, and O’Brien. She also served as Solicitor to the Department of Human Services in Delaware County. She currently serves on the Board of Overseers for the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joining Jenkins on the Pennsylvania Superior Court is fellow Dickinson School of Law alumnus, The Hon. Victor P. Stabile ’82, who was elected to the Court in November 2013.
