Law School to host 5K Race Judicata at University ParkRain or shine, prepare to pound the pavement on the morning of Saturday, October 31 by participating in Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law 5K Race Judicata to raise funds for the Law School’s Public Interest Law Fund (PILF). The race will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is open to law school students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends of the Penn State community. Leashed dogs are welcome, too.
Family Law Clinic represents one couple, eight adoptionsWhen Vicki Adams first arrived at the Family Law Clinic in early 2008, she had an amazing story to tell. She and her husband, Darren, were not only raising their two children, Jaheim and Lynchelle, but were also raising her two children and his six children from prior relationships. Vicki and Darren desired to adopt each other’s children, to “make it a full legal family.”
Lecture to address the role of the United States in the China-Taiwan DivideOn Thursday, October 1, Dr. Parris Chang will deliver a public lecture titled "U.S. Role in the China-Taiwan Divide." Sponsored by the Law School and the School of International Affairs, the lecture will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Lewis Katz Building, located off Park Avenue and Bigler Road in University Park.
