The Penn State Law Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic is collaborating with the Municipality of State College to recognize Welcoming Week with an Immigration and Equity Summit on Sept. 17.
The 127 members of the class of 2021 hail from 24 U.S. states and five foreign countries. Twenty-seven percent of the class is made up of first-generation college students and 22 percent is from minority and ethnic groups that are typically underrepresented in law school and legal practice.
The LL.M. class of 2019 includes 119 students, plus nine exchange students, from 34 different countries. Their diverse perspectives will enrich the experiences of all professors, students, and staff across Penn State Law.
Bhargavi Kannan and Sanya Darakhshan Kishwar earned the top individual honor at the 2018 SAARC Moot Court Competition, a yearlong tournament that attracts thousands of talented law students from across India and south Asia.
