Purchasing Parking Passes
Penn State Law students living off campus may purchase a parking pass for the Student Commuter Lots at Stadium West from Penn State Transportation Services. Students living on campus can purchase a parking pass for residents of White Course Apartments.
Student parking passes are valid in the Orange A Lot behind the Katz Building after 3:00 p.m. M-F*, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays excluding home football game weekends and some special events. (Times are subject to change without notice. Please check the link for updated information.)
Visitors without a valid Penn State permit must pay a daily/hourly rate at a pay station or via the ParkMobile app.
Getting to Katz from the Student Commuter Lots
The Lewis Katz Building is approximately a 15–20-minute walk from the Stadium West Student Commuter Lots.
The free Penn State Campus Shuttle stops on Bigler Road near the Katz Building and is ADA Accessible. The Campus Shuttle has two routes: one running clockwise and one counterclockwise in loops around campus at roughly 20-minute intervals. The Campus Shuttle has two pick-up spots near the Commuter Lot across from the Bryce Jordan Center - one near the IM Building, and one across Park Avenue by the Physical Plant. Daily Pay Parking
Visitors to Penn State may pay per hour for parking in the Orange A lot behind the Katz Building. The maximum time for pay parking is 2 hours from Midnight to 1 p.m., Monday-Friday; 10 hour maximum all other times.

Accessible Parking and Temporary Accessible Parking
Students with documented disabilities may apply for a Penn State Accessible Parking Permit through Penn State Transportation Services. To receive an Accessible Parking Permit through Transportation Services, you must have a valid Penn State Parking Permit and a state-issued ADA parking placard or license plate from any state.
Students needing temporary access to Accessible Parking due to a medical condition should contact Penn State Transportation Services for assistance in obtaining a temporary Accessible pass.

Additional Transportation Options
CATABus - The Centre Area Transporation Authority buses serve residential and commercial areas across the State College Area and on campus. Law students may be eligible for RIDEpass, a discounted rate for community service routes.
Biking - All bicycles must be registered with Penn State Transportation Services to be parked on campus. The Lewis Katz Building offers covered bike racks, as well as showers in the basement and 3rd floor restrooms, for those wishing to ride to school. The Penn State Bike Den offers free bicycle education and tools for DIY repairs. Spin E-bikes are also available for rent.
