UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa — Penn State students at all campuses who are interested in pursuing a law degree are eligible for several opportunities through Penn State Law on the University Park campus. These include a Blue & White Alumni Grant, a Law School Admission Test (LSAT) waiver, and an accelerated bachelor’s/J.D. program. Penn State Law in University Park is currently enrolling full, residential student cohorts for fall 2024 for its juris doctor (J.D.), master of laws (LL.M.), and doctor of juridical science (S.J.D.) programs.
The Veterans Clinic tabled at the Military Appreciation Tailgate on Saturday, Oct. 28 before the football game to meet with veterans and talk about the clinic’s work.
On October 26, a former client and Vietnam veteran talked to Veterans Clinic students about his experiences during and after the war. Students gained insight on how to communicate with their clients as the majority of clinic clients have been Vietnam veterans since the clinic started in 2015.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Over the past two academic years, juris doctor (J.D.) and master of laws (LL.M.) students at Penn State Law in University Park have assisted 30 veterans and their families in resolving legal matters connected to their military service. These students’ work was carried out through the Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, one of 11 clinics operated by Penn State Law in University Park.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Law in University Park hosted the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) for a two-day visit, March 23 and 24, culminating in an oral argument hearing in a pending case. The visit also included multiple events that, together with oral argument, provided Penn State Law students with an immersive learning experience and a behind-the-scenes look into careers in the field of veterans law and how law is made by the judiciary.
