Writing Products: The student will submit an outline __ weeks before the end of the semester and a rough draft ___ weeks before the end of the semester. The final product will be at least [20 or 30] pages in length.

Expectations and Responsibilities: The student and faculty advisor will meet once a week to discuss the progress of the writing product.

Process for Submission: Using the above template, the student will submit the drafted seminar proposal to the prospective supervising faculty member for approval/correction.  Upon final approval by the supervising faculty member, the student will submit the faculty member’s approval email and the proposal, via email, to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.  For the full text of the policy, see https://pennstatelaw.psu.edu/upper-level-writing-seminar-course-policy (bottom of page).
