Law school courses prepare students for the legal profession and offer students an opportunity to explore the diverse role of law in society. For assistance in choosing courses and planning an individualized curriculum to meet individual interests, students should meet with their assigned faculty advisor, the Associate Dean, or any faculty member. A well-rounded legal education includes most of the following courses which comprise the core knowledge of all lawyers, most of which are routinely tested on state bar examinations.
