Other Sources of Aid

Veterans' Benefits

Students eligible for veterans’ educational benefits should contact the Veterans Administration for information about eligibility and application procedures.  The Director of Financial Aid is the law school’s certifying official on campus to assist veterans.  If you plan to use Veterans' Benefits for your education at Penn State Law, please reach out to Susan Bogart at sab36@psu.edu or at (814) 863-0469.

State Aid Programs

Students who are U.S. citizens or have permanent residency status should contact the agencies in their respective states that administer scholarship and loan programs for additional information regarding their eligibility for other sources of aid.

Aid for International Students

International students are not eligible for federal student loans, but often still need the assistance of a student loan to help them meet the cost of their legal education.  International students may be able to borrow a private educational loan if they have a U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to co-sign the loan.

Additional helpful information for international students is available from the University Office of Global Programs.
