Veterans Clinic
The Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic won appellate victories for two separate clients during the last academic year.
Michele Vollmer, director of the Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, will give a presentation on the appellate process for Veterans Affairs pension and disability claims at the Board of Veterans Appeals and the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals on April 29 at Penn State Fayette.
Penn State Law students assisted area attorneys at the annual Wills for Heroes event in Innovation Park in the law offices of Penn State Law’s clinical programs on March 19. Nineteen students helped to connect first responders and veterans with attorneys who provided free estate planning documents.
