Mission Statement:
The Criminal Law Society (CLS) is a student-run organization dedicated to initiating dialog on criminal law and the American criminal justice system. The CLS seeks to provide knowledge and insight into both sides of criminal law, as well as other pertinent realms, such as law enforcement and corrections. To achieve these goals, the CLS fosters platforms for attorneys, judges, academics, and public officials to openly engage in intellectual discussion. Additionally, the CLS organizes conversations on practical criminal law experiences and promotes networking and job opportunities in the field of criminal law. From small panel forums to our annual Criminal Justice Reform Conference, the CLS affords all Penn State Law students opportunities to become more involved in our legal community.
