GENERAL INFORMATION
Penn State Law Commencement will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will be located outdoors in the tiered area immediately adjacent to the Lewis Katz Building, between Bigler Road and Katz, on Penn State's University Park campus. The commencement ceremony will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m.
This year's speaker will be the Honorable Erika M. Edwards, a Justice of the New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the First Judicial District of New York and Penn State University alumna.
GUEST POLICY
Attendance will be limited to graduates and their guests (up to 3 guests per graduate). Graduates must register their guests with Penn State Law. Instructions about how to register guests has been provided to the graduates. Only graduates and their registered guests will be permitted to attend.
COVID-19 GUIDELINES AND COMPLIANCE
The commencement ceremony will follow University, state, and federal guidelines for gatherings. All attendees are required to wear face masks and maintain physical distancing from others to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19. Penn State Law staff will be on-site to answer questions and provide guidance; please follow their instructions about health and safety protocols. All guests who will be attending the commencement ceremony are expected to take appropriate health and safety precautions when traveling and during commencement weekend. In addition, no one should attend the in-person ceremony if within the last 14 days they think they have been exposed, are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, are awaiting test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19.
