Prepare for Practice with Legal Technology Virtual Workshop Series

March is Legal Technology Month at Penn State Law! Please join the Legal-Tech Virtual Lab and the Student Bar Association’s Technology Committee for a Prepare for Practice with Legal Technology Virtual Workshop Series that will help students be better prepared to tackle their summer assignments.

SCHEDULE

All workshops are via Zoom on Tuesdays from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM as follows:

• March 16^th – Tom Sharbaugh, Professor of Practice, Using Forms and Document Generators
• March 23^rd – Theresa Tarves, Director, Legal-Tech Virtual Lab & Professor of Legal Research, Using AI tools and Brief Analyzers to Improve your Legal Research
• March 30^th – David Horrigan, Discovery Counsel & Legal Education Director, The Law and Practice of Data Discovery: E-Discovery, Data Privacy, and Data Protection
• April 20^th – Legal Technology Virtual Vendor Fair

Any student that attends a workshop or the virtual vendor fair will be eligible to pick up or receive a study swag bag by mail the week of the April 20^th vendor fair. Although registration is not required, we encourage all students to register for the workshops and Virtual Vendor Fair because this will help us make sure that we have enough study swag bags for each attendee.
