LPE Virtual Speaker Series

LPE Virtual Speaker Series: Reflections on Sustainable Energy Transition in the Age of COVID-19

Join us via Zoom as we cover topics related to the global pandemic with experts from the College of Engineering, Penn State Law in University Park, and the School of International Affairs. This discussion will be about reflections on sustainable energy transition in the age of COVID-19. Send questions in advance for the Q&A to Patrick Healey: pmh5374@psu.edu

This presentation, with speaker Wei Peng, Ph.D., will summarize key findings from interdisciplinary research that uses engineering models to inform energy policies for addressing local and global sustainability challenges simultaneously. Given the drastic reductions in air pollution and carbon emissions due to COVID-19, potential long-term impacts on climate and the environment will also be discussed through the lens of this research.
