  • Katrice Bridges Copeland
    Katrice Bridges Copeland

    Professor Copeland focuses her scholarship on white collar crime and health care fraud and abuse. Prior to joining Penn State she clerked for Judge David H. Coar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Judge Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and practiced at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C. Her practice focused on white collar criminal defense and constitutional litigation. As part of her white collar crime practice, she represented pharmaceutical companies in health care fraud and abuse prosecutions.

  • Jill Engle
    Jill C. Engle

    Jill C. Engle is a clinical professor of law at Penn State Law in University Park. Previously, she was director of Penn State Law's Family Law Clinic. Professor Engle’s scholarship examines gender-based violence, economic inequality, international human rights, racial justice, and best practices in legal education. Before teaching law, Dean Engle did public interest work, including with Head Start and the National League of Cities, worked in private law in State College and Washington, D.C., and taught media law at Penn State. 

  • Kane
    Eileen M. Kane

    Eileen Kane is a Professor of Law at Penn State Law, specializing in teaching and scholarship at the juncture of technology and the law. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Cornell University, where she received a research fellowship and the Vincent du Vigneaud Award for Excellence in Research. She has published scientific papers in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and the Journal of Virology and conducted research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Professor Kane’s interest in the intersection of science and the law led her to obtain a J.D. and work as a scientific advisor and patent attorney in a major New York City law firm prior to entering academia.

  • Adam Muchmore
    Adam I. Muchmore

    Professor Adam I. Muchmore focuses his research on food and drug regulation. He is also interested in the role of the uncertainty, delegation, and discretion in complex regulatory systems, the regulation of international business, and the civil litigation process. He is the author of Food and Drug Regulation: A Statutory Approach (2021) and Food and Drug Regulation: Statutory and Regulatory Supplement (2023 Edition), both published by Carolina Academic Press.

  • Dara E. Purvis

    Associate Dean for Research and Partnerships and Professor of Law Dara E. Purvis is a scholar of family law, feminist legal theory, masculinities, and sexuality, gender identity, and the law. Her work examines gendered impacts of the law and proposes neutralizing reforms, most recently in the context of how the law defines parenthood. She has been published in, among others, the California Law Review, Wake Forest Law Review, Florida State Law Review, Michigan State Law Review, Case Western Law Review, the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism, Cambridge University Press, and The New York Times.

  • Professor Megan Wright
    Megan Wright

    Megan S. Wright is a Professor of Law and Medicine—Penn State Law’s first joint appointment with the College of Medicine—as well as an affiliate faculty member with the Department of Sociology, the Rock Ethics Institute, and the Bioethics Program in the College of the Liberal Arts. She teaches Torts, Health Law, Bioethics and Law, and Public Health Law.
