Program and Curriculum

Exchange students are expected to take graduate level law courses at FGV. FGV offers graduate level courses in English. Please note that Introduction to the Brazilian Legal System is a mandatory course for foreign students. Faculty bios are accessible through online.

A couple of months prior to the enrollment, a list of courses of FGV will be available to exchange students.

Prior to matriculating at FGV, Penn State Law exchange students must consult with an academic advisor at Penn State Law (Stephen G. Barnes) to approve their course of study. Students may also consult with Prof. Maria Lucia L. M. Padua Lima regarding FGV course selection (contact information below).
