Visa and Passport Information

Please be aware that the student visa requirements for South Africa are time-consuming and begin that process as soon as possible. Among other requirements, you are requested to supply a criminal background screening.

Passports must be valid for at least 30 days beyond the expected period of stay in South Africa. Visitors are required to have two side-by-side passport pages available for use by the South African Immigration Service.

It is strongly recommended that students seek accommodations at the Africa House on campus. A safety briefing will be conducted upon arrival.
