UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Law senior lecturer Lara Fowler is participating in the University's Strategic Plan forum, Stewarding our Planet's Resources on Monday, Jan. 23. The event is the first in a series of public forums focused on implementing the University’s long-range Strategic Plan.
Faculty, staff, and students from across the University are invited to participate, either in person or via livestream. Community members also can participate by sending questions or comments to strategicplan@psu.edu or by tweeting, using the hashtag #PSUplan.
Stewarding our Planet’s Resources will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the Ostermayer Room, Student Community Center, at Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Ideas for consideration at the first forum include:
The forum will provide an overview of the subcommittee’s process, a description of the ideas under consideration and time for discussion.
“Food, energy and water are important issues at Penn State, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and around the world. We’d love to hear thoughts and feedback on potential strategies for the University to address these issues,” said Fowler, who is also the assistant director for Outreach and Engagement with the Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment (IEE) and co-chair of the subcommittee focused on this forum’s topic.
