PSU Board of Trustees elects Deviney as vice chair; honors Ridge


The Board of Trustees also elected alumna Stephanie N. Deviney '97, as vice-chair at its meeting on January 18. She was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2010. Deviney is a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP in Exton, PA, and a member of the firm's Litigation Department and Construction Law Group. In 2011, Deviney was named a "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer. While at the Law School, Deviney was president of the Women's Law Caucus and chaired committees of the Student Bar Association. She served as comments editor for the Dickinson Law Review and was a member of the National Trial Competition Team.

The Penn State Board of Trustees selected Penn State's Dickinson School of Law alumnus the Hon. Thomas J. Ridge '72, as one of seven Penn State alumni to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award, the University's highest award for an individual. Ridge, who lives in Chevy Chase, MD, is a former governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, was the first secretary for Homeland Security, and is the founder and CEO of Ridge Global LLC, located in Washington, D.C.
