The Penn State Center for Marine Science and Technology (CMAST) presents "Imagining the Future of Ocean Science," a daylong symposium exploring the intersection of ocean science, policy, and politics.
Ret. Vice Admiral James W. Houck, interim dean of Penn State Law, will provide opening remarks at 8:50 a.m. and will deliver a talk entitled "The U.S. and the Law of the Sea Convention: (Still) Alone on a Wide Wide Sea" at 12 p.m. Penn State President Eric Barron is scheduled to speak at 9 a.m.
