Which Penn State Law professor and/or faculty member has had the most influence on your journey at Penn State Law?
While at Penn State Law there have been many faculty and staff members that have helped me along my law school journey. Professor Kinports and Professor Miskinis have both helped me with career planning and supporting me in applying to various internships. Dean Ferguson has listened to my various ideas of how I can better effect change within Penn State Law and the legal community in general.

Are you involved in any student clubs, orgs, etc. that enhanced your Penn State Law experience? If so, in what ways have they enhanced your experience?
I am heavily involved in the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) and Law Lion Ambassadors. With BLSA, I have previously served as 1L Representative and currently serve as Vice President. BLSA has enhanced my experience here at PSL because it has allowed me to create community by building friendships and mentorships. Through Law Lions I have been able to speak to incoming students about my experience applying to law school and my experience as a law student. That role has been very impactful as I am able to have meaningful conversations with incoming students about how to choose the best law school for them. It is especially rewarding when I can help other minority students make the decision to join the legal field.

What has been your favorite Penn State Law experience so far?
My favorite experience at Penn State Law has been all of the relationships I have built. The friendships and working relationships that have been built in my two years at PSL have served me well. Through these relationships I have been able to feel supported through this long and sometimes tough law school journey. My peers, mentors, faculty and staff have always been there to answer any questions I have. This group of people have also helped me with applying to jobs, internships, and scholarships.

Where’s your favorite place to go outside of Penn State Law on the University Park Campus?
Outside of the Katz building I enjoy going to the creamery. I particularly like that I can try a different specialty flavor every time I go.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying?
When I am not studying I like to watch movies, find new places to eat in State College, collect vintage vinyl records, and sleep.
