As Iranian nuclear talks reconvene on Tuesday, Amy Gaudion, the executive editor of the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs (JLIA) and assistant dean for academic affairs, points out that the most recent issue of JLIA focuses on many of the topics that will be covered. “The essays in the fall issue of the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs provide insights needed to transform the U.S.-Iranian relationship from one of distrust and hyperbole to one of mutual respect and engaged exchange,” she said.
Caroline Revisited: An Imagined Exchange between John Kerry and Mohammad Javad Zarif by James Houck proposes a legal framework to guide preemptive uses of force in the nuclear age.
